The same christmas movie you watch every year, with the ending you’ve always wanted. When big-city executive Delphina’s mysterious aunt passes away, she must travel back to her hometown of Stardale for the holidays. Despite her big city job and potential promotion, Delphina cannot resist the Stardale charm and soon learns the true meaning of “home.” But then, a demon is released WHOOPSIES. And Delphina must battle the forces of evil using only her wits, her ragtag crew of townies, and the spirit of Christmas.
Roles Open for Auditions
THOMAS : an adorably awkward pawn shop owner with a secret crush, the love interest who isn't actually a love interest but a cultist trying to release a demon.
SANTA : mysteriously appears throughout the show as various characters like a harbinger of fate. Appears as LORNE, Delphina's city job assistant who encourages her to embrace the spirit of christmas and is obsessed with snowmen with legs. Appears as NORM, the town busker who does christmas carols but has a dream to be a stand-up comedian. And finally, is badass Santa with a chainsaw who comes in to save the day, but then dies.
BEKKAH THE FRIEND / MOM THE MOM (double cast) : Bekkah the hometown friend who is supportive and awesome and drinks warm tequila, but then dies. Mom who is the mom that's in Cabo for the holidays.
TUCKER THE REAL ESTATE AGENT / GARY THE BOSS (double cast) : Tucker, the jock turned townie trying to run his mom’s real estate business while she’s in Cabo, also the Scream Queen. Gary, the terrible boss.
DEMON : uh….a demon. A really bad one.
We are not casting the following roles at this time:
DELPHINA : a boss bitch who isn’t that bossy or bitchy, the protagonist who starts as a lover, turns into demon-slayer, ends as new Santa.
MAYOR DONALDSON : Typical small town mayor that also somehow works all the jobs in the town, is the carrier of the town’s christmas story about inventing the bunsen burner, and ultimately turns to the bad side.
